Update 2/9/2024 to also add pictures of my new smile.
I really cannot recommend this dentist enough. He has helped me a ton with trusting dentists again. He gave me back my smile, I haven't open mouth smiled on purpose for years, it feels so good. Even my adjustments for my for my flexible denture was a cake walk. I never once developed ulcers and he got me in the next day every time I asked for an adjustment. And even then once he does the adjustment I rarely have to come back.
Even my child wants to get cavities filled now because of how easy and stress-free he made it for her. The shots never hurt her either and she has a huge needle phobia which is why its taken so long to get her cavities filled. I am so glad I found Dr. Yun.

I wanted to update my review to just state how amazing this dentist is. Novocain shots don't hurt at all for me, I swear he is a wizard. I always used to dread those shots but so far both times have been absolutely pain free. I am glad that I decided to give him a try after some bad situations with a different dentist as he was only for my kiddo originally. He communicates extremely well what he is doing and is very informative. He has dealt with my dental anxiety extremely well. I would recommend him to everyone. Hopefully in a few months I can smile again. Thank you.

If you need an emergency dentist in Elgin, this is the one to call. I called nearly every dentist that lists emergency dentistry in Elgin and every single one either didn't pick up nor returned my call on Labor day except Dr. Yun. He was able to get my kiddo in and taken care of no problem. Will be returning to this place for kiddo's dental needs cause it seems like he actually cared and is an actual emergency dentist when needed. Thank you.

I have anxiety scheduling any type of Dr. appointments and generally avoid it whenever I can. I put off going for several years and finally decided to do something about a cavity I had. Dr. Yun is proving to me that I had no reason to feel anxious (well at least about the Dentist which is one of the more intimidating ones for me). I have never felt so informed about my treatment plan and oral health! Dare I say that I might even enjoy going to the dentist now? I think I just might! It's been awhile since I've met someone in the medical field who genuinely seems not only passionate and prideful in their work, but also kind and understanding. Normally I'm afraid to ask questions, but I felt comfortable to ask as many as I needed and never felt like I was being judged on anything. 11/10 would recommend!
Also wanted to shout out the whole team - everyone I interacted with was kind and professional. This group has eliminated my fears of going to the Dentist and I couldn't be happier with the service provided!
